as for recent updates, i got promoted at my job which is why ive been even busier than before and i am attending anime expo this year finally in LA so i have to plan for that big trip in the coming month! i won my 50/50 in star rail and i am praying the streak continues so that i can have my army of long hair pretty boys.

As for how things are, I haven't been uploading as much as I got a job offer with Samsung recently so its taken some time to readjust to it. Though I won't exactly be hosting as much as I had before I may instead focus on more self-projects. This doesn't mean I'll quit editing but rather explain the long periods without uploading while I mainly take certain studio parts when I am able to. I do also know what I want for my 100th mep but I held off on hosting it due to the last quarter of the year being so busy.

I've also been back on my Genshin gameplay and have been consolidating going into streaming as well later on when I get it all setup. As a massive GI lore player, I always talk to friends for hours about the newer content so perhaps I can attempt to prepare that before 3.4 as I am 100% going for alhaitham and hu tao (prays for shenhe later). It would be entertaining for people to see my insane gatcha luck and also see me as I build literally every character. When I do have that prepared, I'll discuss more into it as well.

For once in YEARS I actually do a solo project and I did it in a single sitting because I got stuck while editing a recent Halloween part so to give myself a little fx break I cracked open a little raw project for myself.
(I swear i'm working on my stuff I just hit a stump and needed to sidetrack a little.)

When I heard this song the first time, my immediate thought was how the music reminded me a bit of Sumeru's and after the 3.1 update, the lyrics were more fitting too so it was a perfect choice. I've never really done these type of edits but a lot of editors I know sometimes do them so I wanted to give it a little try as well haha. This was actually quite fun, might do others like this too in the future since I don't take as many mep parts as I used to and have something to post on the channel.

Let's make a quick rewind back to the older days of editing

After a long, highly anticipated wait the Extraball project is complete! The concept of this project was to recreate/work with the methods used around 2014 in the editing community that involved the use of solids, shapes, no colorings, huge use of the Arial font (family) and popart rendering of arts! It was amazing being able to work with this material again as I hope as fun for the rest who did in this project! Also a fun little fact about the participants, a huge majority of them were also editors even back during those years, some had done the style while other may have missed out on it with this being an amazing opportunity to do it once again/relive it. Even to this day, the style holds a strong impact on the styles we see even now going forwards to 2021!
Old style or current style, there's never limits on creativity. Anything is possible when your mind is put to it!
