The Amazing Kreskin turns 80 today, so we thought we'd share this little treat from the #StromboArchives: George's 2009 interview with the world-famous mentalist on The Hour.
At the time, he'd just published Kreskin Confidential, a memoir about his incredible career.
Don't miss out on the second half of the interview, where Kreskin conspires with the audience to play a little trick on George!

Through his many years in show business, Kreskin has honed his skills with a deck of cards. Now he shares some of the basics in this uncut clip.
Back in 2006, George sat down with Bruce Dickinson and Janick Gers to talk about Iron Maiden's 14th studio album A Matter of Life and Death. They also talked about the state of music at a time of great change in the business.
"The value of music, the physical value of it, has become devalued," Dickinson said. "So whilst music is probably more popular now than at any time in human history, you get bombarded with music wherever you go. I try to find place that don't have music now, where I can just sit in peace and quiet and silence. Because I don't want 24/7 music."

In 2006, George sat down with the pioneering Iranian-Canadian blogger Hossein Derakhshan, whose "Hoder" blog earned him the nickname of "Blogfather" in Iran. Two years later, Derakhshan was arrested in Tehran and convicted of spreading propaganda, co-operating with hostile powers and insulting Islam, earning him a 19-year sentence.
Today Derakhshan was released after having spent six years in prison (he was reportedly pardoned by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei). From the archives, here's George's conversation with the Blogfather Hossein Derakhshan.

Back in 2011, Neil Peart, the legendary drummer of Rush, sat down with George for a rare interview touching on how he's grown as a musician, motorcycle culture and how he deals with bad reviews. They also spoke about Peart's then-new book 'Far and Away,' a travelogue of some of his time on the road.
