Puma has had a rough start to 2025. The launch of the new Future 8 didn't go according to plan, the King is still a big miss and the Ultra 5 is great, but hasn't really taken off compared to other boots in the "speed" category. Long story short, when it comes to their top-end offerings, they're not where they should be. But what about their takedowns?
In today's video we take a closer look at the new Puma Future 8 Pro, the first model below the Ultimate, that retails for $100 less! Aesthetically, they look almost identical, and in terms of features, at least on paper, they don't appear to be that different, despite their $140 price tag. Is it possible that they're just as good, or potentially even better than the more expensive Ultimates? In my opinion, the answer to that question is yes! We discuss the good, the bad, whether or not the Future 8 Pro saves the Future line from complete embarrassment, and perhaps most importantly, how they stack up against other similarly priced options.

In the case of Mizuno's made in Japan product line, between the Alpha 2 and Morelia Neo 4 Beta, the quality and performance is undeniable! Their $320 price tag however, there's no other way to say it, for the vast majority, it's simply way too much. But what if you could have the same fit, feel and performance for nearly half the price?
In today's video we take a closer look at the new Mizuno Alpha 2 Elite, they're made in Vietnam alternative that retails for what is now a takedown model price tag of $180. But if they cost half as much, surely they aren't as good, right? Wrong!
