A few months ago, Snazzy Labs moved to a new location: a 1950s grandma-core house that hasn’t seen any visual updates in decades. Peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, and more, harshed vibe so we had to do something about it. In just over a week, on a very tight budget, and with most of the work being done ourselves, we did the ultimate DIY home office renovation!

In this video, we break down the shocking truth about the *Mac mini M4* and its pricing structure. The *base-model Mac Mini* is an incredible deal at just $600, beating every similarly-priced *PC* in performance and efficiency; however, Apple’s *upgrade pricing* turns the Mac mini into an *Apple scam*, making it nearly impossible to get a good value once you start adding more RAM or storage. Watch as we compare the *Mac mini* to *PC builds* and uncover why the *Mac Mini deal* falls apart when you try to upgrade it.

Apple has released the new M4 Mac mini and M4 Pro Mac mini to much excitement. Bringing along with it the first redesign since 2010, there are a lot of things to discover. Take a look with us at the inside. How the cooling assembly and blower intake fan works, how the copper heat pipe exhaust shroud carries heat away from the SoC, how the speaker acts as an intake manifold to cool the VRMs and PSU, and what component-level stuff can be found on the logic board. It's a pretty remarkable piece of engineering, so let's get going!

13:17 - USB-C, but modular!
14:25 - Modular headphone jack and status LED!
15:32 - Logic board removal (aka HELL)
17:41 - The power supply is ART
