My name is Cory Williams. I'm a film maker and virtual production specialist with a primary focus on motion capture and animation. On this channel, I mainly create short films in Unreal Engine but I also do a lot of VP work in Unity on one of my other channels, JustForKids. I have 5 YouTube channels, all with their own unique audiences. You can find those channels in my Channels tab. I’m also the world's first professional YouTuber. I was the first to receive corporate sponsorship and I been making YouTube videos full-time since September 2005.

The world needed a new poop song, so I used Suno to create a song about a poop lost in space after being accidentally ejected by astronauts. Then I used Unreal Engine 5 and iClone 8 to make the video for it. Yes, that virtual character is me, Cory Williams and no, I didn’t actually sing this song. Do you REALLY think I can sing that well? Flattering if you do but no. My singing voice belongs in the trash.
Anyway, enjoy!
An Alchemist's Confession - This short film was created by Cory Williams in Unreal Engine 5 in only five days.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
https://youtu.be/kbWzJkFAmg0?si=-u0mJrOrnF9lNDL7
On Wednesday, September 20th, I found some really cool assets on the Unreal Engine Marketplace that I wanted to do something cool with. So I downloaded them, prepared a scene and optimized the characters for motion capture inside of Character Creator 4 and iClone 8. The next day, I wrote the script and posted a screenshot of the new project set on LinkedIn. Then on Friday, I recorded the audio and motion capture and exported the data from iClone 8 into Unreal Engine 5. As I was getting out of my Xsens suit, I got a message from Mark Otim on LinkedIn who had seen the screenshot I had posted earlier and asked if I'd like any help with sound design. His reel was impressive, and I love to collaborate with other artists, so of course I brought him on. Then a few minutes later, Angel Roché Jr. reached out to me and asked the same thing, but he was offering to create an original score. His reel was amazing, and I would be crazy to turn someone like him down. So, then I made the introductions and the 3 of us got busy. Angel and Mark spent the next few days making great audio while I spent more time focusing on animation and other VFX inside of Unreal Engine. Then Tuesday night, we had a finished piece.
We hope you enjoy it!

The fact that current technology allows me to do all of this on my own is freakin' mind blowing. It's a great time to be alive my friends!
This is my first showreel by the way. So go easy on me!
Most of what I made here was done in Unreal Engine 5 with the help of AI and other virtual production and character creator tools like Blender, Character Creator 4, iClone 8, AccuRig, Xsens, Manus, Apple ARKit and various others.
Other credit for collaboration go to Solomon Jagwe, Nick Romick, Adrian Carter and Eric Lee. Also special thanks to Taiyaki Studios for allowing me to help grow the virtual creator community. It was great working with them.

THE TRUE STORY OF THE GOLDEN DRILLER:
A version of the Golden Driller was originally built in 1952 by the Mid-Continent Supply Company of Fort Worth as a temporary feature of the International Petroleum Exposition. Six years later, one was erected again for the 1959 show. Due to the positive attention it attracted, the company donated the statue to the Tulsa County Fairgrounds Trust Authority which had it anatomically redesigned and permanently installed in front of the Tulsa Expo Center for the 1966 International Petroleum Exposition. The statue's right hand rests on an oil derrick which had been moved from a depleted oil field in Seminole, Oklahoma. An inscription at the base of the statue reads: "The Golden Driller, a symbol of the International Petroleum Exposition. Dedicated to the men of the petroleum industry who by their vision and daring have created from God's abundance a better life for mankind." In 1979, the Golden Driller was adopted by the Oklahoma Legislature as the state monument. His stats are said to include: Belt size - 48 ft in circumference, Shoe size- 393DDD, and Hat size - 112 hard hat.[5] His belt originally read "MID-CONTINENT", but was changed in 1979 to the current buckle that says "TULSA".
