The day has finally come when the masses can officially say "I told you so"... My wedding ring is over 26 years old, and with one broken wrist/swollen hand exception, I've worn it every single day since our wedding.
But many have warned to take it off on the farm, as it's infamous for getting caught and causing serious damage to a finger.
I don't know what, or how I did it, but indeed it finally happened to me.
Other than that drama, the week was pretty uneventful except for this relentless winter weather causing delays in shipping merch and well, just farm life in general.

The week improved with a Valentines date with hubs, and a much needed update on our beloved Cocoa!

Well, this was unexpected... Monday brought some discoveries that were less than desirable, but the worst was a mama who miscarried her triplets. It's been a hot minute since I've seen a ewe lose her lamb at such an early stage of gestation.

We also finally got our weaning weights done on our winter lambs, and I was surprised!

Sort of a rollercoaster of emotions this week. Our sweet Cocoa has come down with symptoms that would indicate the beginning stages of pneumonia... So we treated quickly, and it looked promising... but the jury is still out.

We also got a few more management jobs off the list this week... we did our booster vaccination on our ewe lambs, and started hoof trimming.

Also found out that yet another person online (this time Youtube) has stolen my content and uploaded as their own.
Such a violating feeling, and leaves me feeling frustrated about content creation in general.

Also spending time in the merch room, packing orders from our Valentines Day drop!

Today is already WEANING DAY for our winter lambing group... I actually can't believe it.
This group was a lot of work, but looking around today... I can see the hard work paid off!

We graduated our bottle babies after what has felt like the longest 8 weeks ever! Despite my complaining of the conditions, these lambs grew SO WELL! Poor Piper didn't want to see them leave however.

The weekend was wrapped up with chores, checking in on our recent grads to make sure they found water... and we were packing up orders from our Winter Blues launch.

The boys even found a little fun on Sunday by making a strawbale their bouncy castle!
