Game: Friday The 13th : The Game
System: Xbox One X
Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and online match of 'Friday The 13th : The Game' as Jason (Part V) for the Xbox One X.
Released in 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch; Friday the 13th : The Game is a classic online multiplayer game.
Unfortunately due to the official servers being shutdown sometime in late 2020, I can't really recommend this game as of now. Though, in it's heyday it was pure online multiplayer fun.
The games consist of 8 player online matches. 1 player is Jason and the other 7 players are camp counselors. The goal of the camp counselors is to try and escape within the 20 minute match timeframe. And the goal of Jason is simple, kill them before they escape!

Game: Streets Of Rage 3 AKA Bare Knuckle 3

System: Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive
Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Streets Of Rage 3 for the Sega Genesis.
Streets Of Rage 3 is my favorite game in the series. I personally prefer this over Streets Of Rage 2. Why?
Simply put, the combat in this game is the most refined out of the series and feels damn good to play. There are multiple paths/endings. There are secret boss and sub boss characters you can play as. And once again, Yuzo Koshiro composes the awesome soundtracks (though I think Streets Of Rage 2 just wins out on the music factor).
The Streets Of Rage games are hands down the best 2D-side scrolling beat-em-ups ever made. It's debatable as to what specific game is the best, but for me - Streets Of Rage 3 is the ultimate entry in the series.

Detention is dare I say, the most unique game I've ever played. Simply put, it's a 2D side-scrolling 'point and click' horror game. And it's fantastic.
Set during 1960's Taiwan under martial law, you play as protagonists Wei and Ray (Predominantly Ray though), who are trapped in their high school during a typhoon alert.
Exploring the school you discover it's haunted, and end up learning of it's dark history.
Amazing atmosphere.
Excellent graphics and art design.
Superb music and sound.
Integrates religious elements based on Taiwanese/Chinese culture and mythology.
An intense and tragic story.
This is a game I will not be forgetting anytime soon ...

In this video I play through the 'Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa' for the PC.
'Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa' is an Indie Horror game made by the same creator/s (Puppet Combo) who made the 'Power Drill Massacre' and 'Babysitter Bloodbath'.
You play as protagonist Beth, and you are part of a scavenger crew that has just landed on a seemingly deserted and unexplored planet.
You are tasked with locating precious minerals and returning to the ship. However, you are rather reluctant as the planet seems a little too quiet.
Upon exploration of the planet you discover the horror and macabre that lie in 'Santas Village'. Can you make it out alive? And have you been naughty or nice?
Another fantastic Indie horror game by Puppet Combo studios. The atmosphere is on-point and the music/sound design is amazing.
