Imagine being told you have cancer just hours before a first date. That’s exactly what happened to Lauren. However, she went on the date and it was the start of something special.

Thousands of younger people with cancer in the UK are worried about how their diagnosis might affect their ability to find a new partner. Everyone deserves love and companionship, and that’s why we’re opening conversations about the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on dating and relationships.

Join us at 10:00 am on 4th February, World Cancer Day, for a live conversation between Wes Streeting – Secretary of State for Health and Social Care – and Nick Robinson – presenter, author, and former BBC/ITV Political Editor.

This exciting event is an opportunity to bring members of the cancer community together ahead of the Government’s development of the Cancer Plan for England, including cancer professionals working in the NHS, national cancer charities, community organisations and people with lived experience of cancer.
