CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is a technology used for automatically controlling machine tools through computer programs. CNC allows for the processing of various materials with high precision and speed, making it indispensable in modern manufacturing. CNC machines can perform complex operations such as turning, milling, and drilling with minimal human intervention.
Interesting facts about CNC:
The first CNC machines were developed in the 1950s.
CNC machines can operate continuously 24/7, significantly increasing productivity.
CNC can create parts with accuracy down to microns.

SpaceX launched the world's largest rocket, Starship, for the fourth time; both stages managed to splash down (but not without losses). The fourth test flight of the SpaceX Starship super-heavy launch vehicle ended significantly more successfully than previous attempts - both stages generally completed their missions and splashed down successfully (although in the case of the second, there was some damage). The launch was broadcast live on the SpaceX X/Twitter account. Starship in full configuration with Super Heavy (the height of the entire system exceeds 120 meters) launched from the site at Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas, at 15:50 Kyiv time on June 6, 2024. Approximately 3 minutes after launch, the Starship super-heavy launch vehicle with 32 engines (one failed) reached the required altitude, where a successful separation occurred according to the “hot” scheme: most of the engines of the Super Heavy accelerator turned off and at the same time the engines of the ship itself started working. The Starship team managed to demonstrate hot undocking of stages for the third time. The first stage subsequently successfully performed a Boostback Burn maneuver (the same way Falcon 9/Falcon Heavy stages return) and entered the landing trajectory, and a few minutes later ignited its engines (only 12 fired) for a soft landing on the water in the Gulf of Mexico. The “starship” itself, after successfully igniting all 6 engines, continued to climb along the planned trajectory. It reached an altitude of more than 150 km, successfully entered low-Earth orbit and turned off its engines. Approximately 40 minutes after launch, Starship began the procedure for re-entry into the atmosphere (very spectacular, see the video below) - despite the fact that there were losses here (the heat-protective tile partially crumbled and the fin was burned), the ship made a successful turn and eventually splashed down in the Indian Ocean. For Elon Musk, Starship in the future is a spacecraft that will transport people to Mars, and NASA primarily hopes to use it as a lunar lander that will deliver astronauts to the surface of the Moon for the first time since 1972. In the near term, SpaceX also plans to use Starship to launch the next generation of Starlink internet satellites. At its most intense moment in flight, the SpaceX spacecraft experienced an eventful journey back to Earth. A moment before landing, the image on the camera darkened, but then came to life again and recorded how the fin of the spacecraft burned out from the plasma flow and, despite everything, continued to work.

SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket, which launched 10 Iridium-3 satellites into orbit. At this point, the first stage of the rocket has successfully landed on a floating platform in the ocean.
The Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Its first stage landed on a SpaceX floating platform called Just Read the Instructions in the Pacific Ocean. SpaceX is launching a dozen Iridium-3 satellites into orbit for the third time; a total of 75 such spacecraft will be launched.
