With an innovative sound that embodies darkness and grit through lush instrumentation, OddKidOut makes music for the underdog. Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, the 29-year-old multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer has spent most of his life behind a drum kit, performing in a multitude of touring bands by the age of 13. Having eventually swapped the drum kit for a finger drum controller and Ableton while still in his teenage years, OddKidOut’s unique brand was born.
The 2017 release of OddKidOut’s breakthrough EP ‘Solstice’, which released on Skrillex’s imprint OWLSA, cemented him as a standout within the electronic music scene, garnering high praise from all corners of the industry. Since then, OddKidOut has released on a plethora of labels including Insomniac’s imprints BASSRUSH, Hard Records and Lost in Dreams; artist-driven labels Ophelia, mau5trap and Bitbird; and major labels such as Warner, where he released his official remix of NLE Choppa’s viral hit ‘SlutMe Out 2’ in 2024. With support from Skrillex, deadmau5, NGHTMRE, Seven Lions and San Holo, the breakout artist looks to the future of his diverse and innovative sound.
