Sign UpEver noticed that when you smack the bottom of a bottle of super cooled water that it starts to freeze from the top?
Since I forgot to add it to this version and people have asked: the bulbs I used are the automotive kind like you would use for a tail light that draw about 12 watts at 12v. There are 4 wired together in series. The solar panel outputs 40 volts in full sun with the circuit open with a max power of 200Watts. The power draw of the actual device isn't constant but I calculated, using my famously bad math skills, that at most it would be about 30 watts.
I do some demonstrations to explain a basic concept of physical chemistry.

I test out a system to convert urea (in urine) into nitrate via bacterial oxidation. This is primarily for converting waste to usable fertilizer but could have other uses.
We only get to do this once. we should learn from past mistakes and do it right.

I extract iron oxide from a dry stream.
Channel members and Patrons saw a version of this video that is 10 minutes longer; I got carried away with the geology. If you want to see that you know what to do.
