Cold War-era B-52H Stratofortress bombers of the US Air Force arrive in the UK to join NATO forces in Europe. Several passenger and cargo planes assisted with the deployment and a U2 Dragon Lady is also featured.
The bomber planes landed at RAF Fairford, a standby airfield for the US Air Forces in Europe. It's the only bomber base of It's kind in the continent and therefore key to the United States European Command area of military operation. The B52s are deployed to Europe on Bomber Task Force 25-2. Two Boeing 747s and a Boeing 767 assisted with personnel and cargo.

The B-52 Stratofortress have been in service since 1952, while the U-2 Dragon Lady went into service in 1956. Both are still flying in 2025, approximately 70 years later. The U2 however is set to be retired by 2026, with drones taking their place. The B52 on the other-hand is expected to still be in service by 2050.
The latest varient, the B-52H, went into service in 1961. All the bombers shown in this video are from the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. The U-2S went into service in 1989 and the one shown here is from the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beele Air Force Base in California, all though is routinely based at RAF Fairford.

Six hospital building structures transported by trucks under escort of multiple police cars, motorcycles, and pilot vans through several villages in Gloucestershire.

A Scania R580 from Lift & Shift Transport, two DAF XFs and a Renault T series from Insight Trans Logistics Ltd, and two Scania R730s from Gordon Gilder transported the wide loads.
Gloucestershire Police escorted the oversized loads with an Audi A6, Volvo XC60 and three BMW R1200s of the Roads Policing Unit. They were assisted by Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito private escort vans.

Watch the USS Montgomery underway from Naval Base San Diego as military aircraft take off and fly-over. It is an unusual looking US warship, one of several of the Independence-Class Littoral Combat Ships much unlike other vessels seen. Have a look for yourself in this video!
The USS Montgomery (LCS-8) is an Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) that was commissioned into service in 2016. LCS-8 is the eighth ship of the Littoral Combat Ship type, which also includes the Freedom-class. Both classes are designed for operating near to shore in an area known as the 'littorals'. They are intended to be stealthy and agile, hence their unusual design with a shallow draft for combat operations near to shore.
Originally, it was intended that there would be 52 ships of the type built. however, the order has been down-scaled. Ships of both classes are already being decommissioned, and their practicality is being questioned.
Also featured are several SH-60 Sea Hawk helicopters and F/A-18 Carrier-based fighter jets, and several security boats with the US Navy passing in San Diego Harbor at the time.

Watch a convoy of British Army Oshkosh 1070F Heavy Equipment Transporters, other military vehicles and various lorries spotted in England and Wales. This is one of our 'transport spotting' compilations for those who just like to watch traffic!
The Oshkosh 1070F 8x8 is the large tractor unit of the Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) tasked with pulling battle tanks, armoury and other heavy vehicles on the 14 wheeled King Trailers seen in the video. These are operated by KBR FTX Logistics Ltd, who are contracted to the Ministry of Defence to provide transport during peacetime and are reservists for the British Army. The frontline unit is 19 Tank Transporter Squadron of the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC) at Bulford Camp, who operate the vehicles during military operations and in addition to their civilian counterparts.
At 0:00, FTX Logistics can be seen hauling an Ajax Armoured Fighting Vehicle while at 1:49 they are hauling an old Chieftain Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineer (AVRE) used for training with.

A super large vehicle blocks a road in London while police hold traffic to let the slow moving transport pass through. Two trucks and a special trailer were required to move this electrical grid transformer due to it's weight and size.

Allelys Heavy Haulage transported this Hyosung supergrid transformer cradled within a Goldhofer girder frame trailer, pulled and pushed by two MAN TGX tractors. The abnormal load weighed 178 tonnes and required special measures to squeeze through the ancient city overnight. The supergrid transformer was delivered to the new Bengeworth Road Substation off Cold Harbour Lane in Brixton on Sunday morning at first light.
The 400kV Bengeworth Road Substation in Lambeth will be the first in the country to be sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) free. National Grid and Linxon are working on the new substation as part of the Β£1billion London Power Tunnels 2 project.
The Metropolitan Police escorted the wide load from Leatherhead in Surrey to Brixton in London over the weekend, after it left the Port of Tilbury on Friday. Several police vehicles closed roads as the oversized load moved at slow speeds, avoiding certain weight restrictions, low bridges and narrow streets by taking an extensive route through the capital city.
