I traveled to Long Island, Bahamas, to spearfish with one of the best free divers in the world, Luke Maillis. We searched the reefs for Lobsters, Snappers, and Hogfish. After filling the cooler, we took our catch home and cooked it.

The LARGEST PREDATOR in the Lake:

We found a shrimp boat that had huge cobia, tuna, and sharks swimming underneath it. These boats drag massive nets to catch shrimp, resulting in a large amount of bycatch, which is basically anything that is not shrimp. Once the fishermen separate their shrimp, they toss the bycatch overboard, which attracts the fish we want to catch. I was fishing with Billy and Daniel Delph in Key West. We pulled up to our first shrimp boat, Billy tossed a topwater lure and hooked a cobia. We landed the fish and decided to release it. The limit for cobia is only two, and we wanted bigger fish. We traveled to our next shrimp boat, started chumming, and there were fish everywhere! After catching our limit, we drove back to the dock, and Daniel cleaned the cobia.

I traveled to Italy to catch huge squid and swordfish in the straights of Messina using the new Penn Fathom battery-powered fishing reel. We targeted swordfish for three days using tridents on the Felucca Boats. On the last day, I met up with Andrea from Sicily fishing, and we dropped baits in over 2000ft of water, searching for a giant squid.

8 Year Old Catches OVER 1000lbs of Fish:

I traveled to Jordan in the Middle East to go fishing for Giant Squid and swordfish. I was fishing with Dr. Marwan in the Gulf of Aqaba, a branch of the Red Sea. These are ancient waters surrounded by four different nations. We were fishing in over 2,000ft (700 meters) of water using electric Penn reels. On our first day, our goal was to catch my first giant Humboldt squid.
On our second day of fishing, I was using huge squid as bait to catch a larger, more aggressive predator in the ocean. Swordfish love eating squid, and I was shocked to see how easily a swordfish can swallow a giant Humboldt Squid. I was using the giant Humboldt Squid as live bait for the swordfish.
On my final day, I saw a Swordfish attack a giant Humboldt Squid. After catching a few squid, I threw a topwater squid lure to catch one on the surface, and a squid attacked the lure! I released that squid and dropped another bait down. While bringing the next squid up, we noticed a swordfish following it to the boat! Then the swordfish started to attack this giant Humboldt Squid! I pitched the swordfish a squid tentacle on a Penn Spinning reel, and he ate it immediately! After landing the fish, Marwan and I returned to his home, where we cleaned and cooked the squid and swordfish.

We went fishing using Tridents to catch Swordfish in Messina, Italy, on the most unique boat I've ever fished on, the Feluca boat. This boat has the tallest sight fishing tower and the longest pulpit I've ever seen! The Feluca Boats are designed for one purpose: searching for Swordfish on the surface in the straights of Messina. During the day, Swordfish usually swim in depths below 1000ft, but in Messina, they swim on the surface. This ancient style of fishing in Messina has existed since the Roman Empire over 2,000 years ago.
