After about a year and a half of efforts the Brisbane community brings you The Mighty Botang, intended to be an homage and spiritual sequel to the 11/10 classic BNE 2014 by Christian Wallman and the original BNE crew, I knew that I wanted to make something big like this for a while so I decided to go head down into this project as hard as a could this past year and a bit even putting my own training on the sidelines just so I could get this done, probably the biggest video ive ever tried to do so it was quite the struggle at some stages, I spent most of 2023 attempting to work on this video in secret so that I didn’t have to stress about asking people to save clips and go hard for a YouTube project, but come 2024 the gang caught wind of what I was doing and decided to join me and so for 2024 the gang trained hard and even saved some bangers just for this project which feels really special to me, along with Mitch who was basically my Co director for the project and a big help in getting everyone on board, the goal of this video really is to just give brisbane a video again where we can all look back and be proud of our collective community and how we stand here now in 2024, there was no way it would be better than 2014 but if we even came close to the vibes im happy, honestly i’m just surprised I was able to even make this video into reality, shout out to everyone that helped me for this and for everyone who saved clips in the video it truly meant everything, love you all BOTANG.
